Games for boys mostly involved play acting one
of our heroes, a trip to Saturday morning pictures gave us the plot for
our games. Cowboys never got involved with girls and space men were always
too busy saving the world to worry about girls..

With gun at the ready the intrepid cowboy knows he could
get bush whacked.

American cities were always built on the coast. In the
center lived cowboys. These were real people who loved their horses more
than girls. Also, they all could sing. Who could forget "My Four Legged
Friend" or "The Ghost Riders In The Sky"
or even "Me and My Teddy Bear".

Space in all its gory detail. There were no good aliens.
Only monsters who were out to get us with death rays.

No horrible space monster was safe if they tried to invade
earth. We were ready with our trusty Dan Dare ray gun.
