By the mid-fifties cheap motoring had arrived, cars
for the masses. People were seduced off their bikes in to
the comfort of the car. Now you could have your children
in the back seat instead of in the sensible side-car and
your wife sitting next to you in the warm. It was about
this time that they started to make divorce easier!
